Think the vocal melodies should be quite sharp and snappy aswel. Would work for the song. That's my opinion anyway.
The guitar part between 1.23 and 1.44 should eventually drop into a fast tempo solo on the guitar and drum beat. Build it up to slap your listeners round the face! :D
